Mobility & Strength Training

Beyond going to the gym, mobility and strength training will help you facilitate functional strength, balance, and body movements that will serve you long-term. Many of my clients are working through changes in their body that often accompany hormonal changes, lifestyle transitions, and keeping their agility and strength through aging. You’ll use traditional strength equipment, but also learn plenty of bodyweight exercises and we always finish with stretching, or Qigong and incorporating breath into movement.

I have a few group circuit training options available, duo rates (for couples or friends) and one-on-one rates.

Mindfulness Coaching

Put simply, being mindful is being present in each moment.
If you’re looking to bring a more intentional, present, and compassionate connection to aspects of your everyday life. We take an inventory of your lifestyle and communication and relationships, and then consider and make a plan for how to start integrating mindfulness (being PRESENT) and taking deep breaths to find ways to not be “triggered” or taken out of focus.
You’ll learn & utilize skills like Pranayama (breathing), Meditation, journaling, and practicing non-violent communication.

Mindfulness Coaching is available virtually or in-person.


 

Yoga

Yoga is endlessly beneficial for nourishing your personal practice your connection with yourself. The reason I believe in yoga is because I saw SO much burnout in my training clients who never let themselves slow down. We can use Yoga to address your strength and mobility needs, and to work with your bodyweight to strengthen & lengthen your muscles. A great option if you want to work on your posture, injury recovery, and learn more about how your body functions & moves.

Holding Space Session:
Assisted Stretching & Acupressure

These sessions that I call “Holding Space” and are a truly sacred space for me and the client. Yes, it’s assisted stretching, but I use many years of expertise in stretching, body language insight, and acupressure to create a safe space for your body, bones, and nervous system to be given a re-set and emotional release. You will be supported with bolsters, blankets, and offered deep stretches, nourishing hands-on stretching, and assistance from singing bowls, essential oils, and music.
Because it can often bring up feelings or a deep release, I only take women as new clients.
